I bought two homes and sold one home prior to getting my real estate license in 2014. The experience was intimidating and unpleasant:
- I felt uninformed about the process which was unbelievably scary.
- I wasn’t sure if I should trust my Realtor’s expertise because I wasn’t sure how much business they had done in the past.
- I felt intimidated by the customary “Real Estate Process” and all the “Required Paperwork and Disclosures”.
- The best part about the entire process was when it was over.
I knew I could provide a better experience for home buyers and sellers, so I left my secure management job with the State and dove into Real Estate full time. Four years later I’m happy to say that I’ve learned a lot and still have a lot left to learn. But I’ve been able to shape my PHILOSOPHY which I believe helps my clients to have a good experience and equates to success in any Real Estate transaction:
Responsiveness is Everything
Transparency is Necessary
Knowledge of the Contract is Powerful
Understand the Other Side of the Transaction
